As an advocate for our sacred planet and its beautiful creatures, Shazara began her love affair with horses early on.
She is a certified EMT (Equine Massage Therapist) and recently completed an immersive study with Equine Pacifica, Southern Californias premier equine massage school.
She is also an EAGALA certified Equine Therapist and believes that both offer the perfect balance. To utilize horses as facilitators for our human needs, it is only natural we reciprocate and learn tools to better sustain and nurture them.
Shazara has been an equine enthusiast and wellness weaver for as long as she can remember. She was fortunate enough to help sustain the lives of many rescued horses on the island of Maui and there she received a great deal of practical, on the ground learning.
She has years of hands on experience with a diverse variety of horses and humans with varying histories and challenges and this has been deeply informative in terms of how to be most effective during her sessions. She has worked in collaboration with other leading clinicians and trailblazers in the equine world to better learn the diversely intricate language of the horses.
Her collection of tools or healing modalities include reiki, aromatherapy, meridian and ting point applications, the use of crystals, and other intuitive means for transformation and healing. Her massage technique utilizes deep circulatory massage in combination with stretches to improve range of motion. Her gentle nature, physical prowess and genuine love of horses make her an exceptional therapist for both horses and humans alike.
She completed a masters program in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica and this education has served as an excellent spring board to more clearly align her with her gifts and help her better serve humanity.
“Horses have the potential to be our most powerful mentors and guides. They exude nobility, majesty, power and grace. Horses reveal to us that with mindful awareness and a willingness to grow our liabilities can be transmuted into assets and our fears can become our greatest strengths.
”
“Horses elevate our field of consciousness and draw us into the present moment again and again. They connect us to our heart and help us build a bridge from old unhealthy pattens to new ways of being.
